When word of her family's troubles reaches Silver, Naomi feared that Silver would retaliate against her by posting the information on her blog. Not wanting to separate the family, or lose her life of luxury, Tracy had chosen to tolerate Charles's unfaithful habits. Tracy identified the woman as Gail McKinney, and explained that Gail and Charles had been seeing each other on an occasional basis for two years. The next morning, Naomi regretfully reported the affair to her mother and was stunned to learn that she already knew of it. After being comforted by Ethan, she later went home to quietly lie next to her mum as she slept.
